With offices in Troy and Grand Rapids, AmeriStaff Nursing Services has been around for more than 45 years. We provide full-service home healthcare services and with our durable medical equipment, pharmacy, and Medicare divisions, there is little we can’t do! AmeriStaff Nursing Services is proud to be CHAP accredited. Most of our cases are auto claims, private pay, and workman compensation - no Medicare or Oasis in this role.

Here are a few things you would be doing:
- Supervise field employees including RN’s, LPN’s, PT’s OT’s, CNA’s and Home Health Aides; Personnel management including hiring, firing, disciplining, orientating, goal setting, and providing professional development on a regular basis.
- Manage direct patient care activities in accordance with all state, local, and federal laws and regulations.
- Coordinate admission of new patients in accordance with each type of service by direct or contracted personnel; Work closely with case managers, doctors, family members and insurance adjusters to assure quality of services offered and adequate staffing.
- Control budgets and monitor direct patient care costs; implement staff education to deliver cost effective, quality care to patients.
- Work with the RN clinical nurse supervisors to develop and implement new care programs, conduct ongoing evaluation of clinical policies and procedures.
- Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of CHAPS accreditation
Things that will help you land this role:
- Bachelor level RN (BSN) degree or higher is preferred
- 5 or more years of patient care experience
- 5 years of healthcare or home care management is a plus
- Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication, documentation, case management, and leadership skills
- Experience with CHAP or other accreditation processes is a bonus
