How you will help
As a Director, Rebate Operations, you will manage a rebate analyst on the Engagement Services team to ensure customer satisfaction and contract deliverables are provided in a timely and accurate manner – which requires building and maintaining strong relationships as the primary point of contact for the accounts, clearly communicating expectations, driving client engagement and proactively addressing and assessing client needs.
Rebate agreements are becoming increasingly complex, with massive amounts of diverse data, stricter compliance rules, and tighter deadlines. As a member of our team, you will help clients overcome these challenges by using the HealthVerity Smart Contracts Manager. This innovative, self-service platform streamlines and automates the entire rebate contract lifecycle, reducing manual, time-consuming tasks. By simplifying workflows, it enhances efficiency, transparency, and flexibility, enabling clients to efficiently negotiate and manage sophisticated agreements. What you will do
- Research and analyze client questions related to invoiced products and corresponding rates and qualification, and provide explanation, information and interpretation within area of expertise
- Analyze manufacturer contract terms and perform contract setup support to ensure compatibility with rebate technology
- Guide and support the Engagement Services team to ensure projects are delivered on time and accurately, with clear documentation of scopes of work and managed timelines
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings to address and escalate client issues, bugs, and enhancement requests to engineers for prompt resolution
- Advocate for ongoing process and product improvements, proactively suggesting growth opportunities to the Smart Contracts team and leadership
- Collaborate to enhance the capabilities of the Smart Contract Manager product
- Host quarterly reviews and meticulously document all client meetings using standard templates
- Continuously refine templates and processes for better efficiency
- Provide guidance and knowledge transfer to direct reports and team members, fostering a collaborative environment

Required skills and experience
- Experience assisting with the coordination, analysis and validation of rebate reports and distribution of payment allocations for rebate billing periods3+ years of product/project or account management experience with demonstrated success in product definition activities for SaaS software, UX and end user applications
- Experience working at a managed care organization or pharmaceutical manufacturer; preferably a PBM background
- Strong understanding of the claims adjudication process and pharmaceutical manufacturer rebate contract language and terms and conditions
- Knowledge of pharmacy claims reimbursement (ex. WAC, ASP, AWP, discounts, rebates, admin fees, etc.)
- Comfortable working with large datasets, including different healthcare data types such as: claims, enrollment, clinical, medical, pharmacy, contract and financial data from payers/providers
- Technical proficiency and effectiveness working closely with engineers
Base salary for the role is commensurate with experience and can range between $150,000 - 170,000 + annual bonus opportunity.
Hiring Locations
Our main office is located in Center City, Philadelphia, where we operate on a hybrid model with in-office work required three days a week for local employees. We believe collaboration is most effective when teams come together, which is why we prioritize hiring in the Philadelphia area.
For certain roles, we also hire from hub locations—regions where we have an established presence with multiple team members working remotely. While these employees primarily work from home, we bring them together in person at lease once a year for team-building, collaboration, and strategic planning.
Due to tax and labor regulations, we can only hire from specific states. Remote work is supported in the following key hub locations and approved states:
