Your Role

As an Industrial Engineer, you will improve efficiency and support capacity growth in a dynamic manufacturing environment. You will analyze workflows, balance production lines, and refine floor layouts to ensure safe, ergonomic, and cost-effective operations. This role provides the opportunity to apply lean tools, identify automation opportunities, and contribute directly to ongoing factory expansion. This is an onsite role.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and update floor layouts, process flows, and workstation designs to improve efficiency, capacity, and scalability.
  • Conduct time studies, line balancing, and spaghetti diagram analyses to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
  • Assess ergonomic risks and recommend solutions to improve operator safety and comfort.
  • Support the implementation of lean tools, automation, and poka-yoke methods to improve quality and reduce waste.
  • Partner with operations, quality, and engineering teams on capacity increase projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Document findings, create clear visual aids, and present recommendations to stakeholders.

Core Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles, line balancing, and process flow analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with time studies, spaghetti diagrams, and ergonomic assessments.
  • Proficiency with Excel and CAD or layout software for process documentation and planning.

Desired Skills / Experience

  • Exposure to automation or poka-yoke implementation.
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement methods such as Kaizen or Six Sigma.
  • Experience with FMEA, Control Plans, and related best practice documentation tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Pay Range: $120,000 - $140,000

*Base salary only. Salary is dependent on multiple factors including, but not limited to, experience and location.

**Additional compensation may include equity, bonuses, stipends, medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and long-term disability insurance.
