Key Responsibilities
The Deposit Operations Specialist II is responsible for a wide range of tasks, including:
Core Operations & Balancing
- Perform daily balancing and reconciliation of various deposit-related applications, general ledger accounts, and core system interfaces to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Process incoming and outgoing wire transfers, ensuring all required documentation is complete, transactions are executed accurately, and appropriate compliance checks are performed.
- Monitor and manage exception reports from core processing systems and digital banking platforms, resolving discrepancies and escalating issues as necessary.
Debit Card Management
- Serve as a primary point of contact for debit card lifecycle management, including ordering, maintenance, and closure of accounts.
- Assist with debit card disputes and fraud claims in accordance with Regulation E and network rules, ensuring timely processing and documentation.
- Process and maintain limits, restrictions, and general updates on customer debit card accounts within the card processing system.
Digital Products & Customer Service
- Provide first-level support and troubleshooting for customers and internal staff regarding the bank's digital products, including online banking, mobile apps, and other services via phone and chat.
- Process enrollments and maintenance requests for digital banking services.
Other Tasks & Projects
- Assist with departmental projects related to new product implementations, process improvements, regulatory changes and system upgrades.
- Help maintain accurate and organized departmental documentation, procedures, and training materials.
- Perform other operational tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements
Qualifications and Requirements:
Education: High School Diploma or GED. A college degree is a plus. Equivalent experience in a related field will also be considered.
Experience: One (1) to two (2) years of banking or financial operations experience preferred.
Skills:
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a proven ability to explain technical concepts clearly and concisely.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to analyze operational issues and develop effective solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with other departments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail, especially when handling financial transactions and sensitive customer data.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines
