Are you a self-starter, who excels in leading complex cross regional or global projects, loves fragrances, loves to collaborate with Perfumers and creative centers to drive business value growth? Then this might be the perfect opportunity for you!

In this role as Creative Fragrance Manager you will be an important part of our Personal Care development team. Collaborating with Perfumers and Creative Centers on a global/cross regional level, assisting our customers in developing successful olfactive strategies.

You will work in São Paulo, Brazil and will directly report to the Hair and Skin Care Creative Fragrance Director based in Brazil.

 

In this exciting role, you will:

  • Develop olfactory strategy for clients, market, category and guide Perfumery teams accordingly
  • Manage multiple complex briefs and develop or select fragrances according to the given brief guidelines
  • Partner with other regional creative centers, to complete project assignments
  • Define fragrances to be tested and coordinate with Consumer Market Insight (CMI)
  • Translate CMI results into olfactory guidelines for perfumers
  • Participate in olfactory analysis of new products to identify interesting notes for creative development
  • Develop new fragrances with Perfumers on a proactive basis
  • Work with lab on testing product stability
  • Understand the Best Practices and efficiency improvement opportunities
  • Anticipate market tastes; work with marketing colleagues on proactive concept generation
  • Write olfactory summaries of a region/market and customer for knowledge-building and sharing
  • Conduct customer presentations/interactions
  • Demonstrate track records of new wins
  • Build and curate the best in class fragrance collection, responding to gap analysis, market needs, market trends and incorporating Givaudan technologies
  • Manage fast and efficient selection of fragrances for activation projects from oil or blind

 

You - Your professional profile should include:

  • University degree or Masters in a relevant discipline;
  • 7+ years of functional / technical experience in the fragrance creation business;
  • Lead development projects with different complexities and timeframes;
  • Strategize and articulate clear olfactive visions;
  • Experience of fragrance products, general market dynamics and olfactory trends;
  • Can mentor and lead a small team, as applicable. Training juniors at working levels;
  • Work with customers/clients on briefs, technical matters and other issues;
  • Clear olfactive strategy internally & externally;
  • Translate olfactive strategies into tangible deliverables;
  • Experience with one or more Personal care categories (Hair, Skin, Skin Cleansing, Deos);
  • Proficient in English
