Provide executive support for the administrative and academic roles of the Executive Director of the Comprehensive Transplant Center (CTC) and the administrative roles of the Administrative Director of the CTC. This position will have the primary responsibility of coordinating and managing the day-to-day activities including business functions of the CTC office. This position will also be responsible for ensuring policy adherence and excellent customer service delivery to the CTC administrative team and all external customers. This position will involve interactions at all levels of the organization and the public. It will be responsible to develop and coordinate material and follow-up on request. This position will draft and compose letters and/or reports, take dictation, minutes, arrange meetings, reservations, travel, order supplies, food, etc. This position will also be responsible for handling assigned administrator's calendars and for researching and analyzing materials, information, programs, procedures and policies on behalf the Executive and Administrative Directors of the CTC.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
Six months experience (600 hours training) using computers to generate a variety of materials ranging from basic to complex; 6 mos. experience (600 hrs course work) in office practices and procedures; 6 months experience (600 hours course work) in customer service. Some positions require one year related medical secretarial experience or completion of an associate's degree program with three courses in medical terminology plus 3 mos. experience (300 hours training) in use of word processing equipment, consistent with position description. Some positions require 6 mos. experience (600 hrs course work) in supervision consistent with position description
