Immanuel Communities is seeking a Part-time Bistro Attendant/Server/Dishwasher to work at Arboretum Village, located at 8141 Farnam Drive, Omaha, NE 68114.  Arboretum Village has 145 independent living apartment homes.

This position will pay up to $19.68/hour (straight pay/no tips).  Pay will be based upon experience, certifications, skills and education.

Job Duties & Skills Required

What You Will Do

Food/Beverage Preparation

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Prepare foods such as sandwiches, pizzas and salads, if applicable.
• Prepare “grab & go” items such as sandwiches, salads various snack items, if applicable.
• Operate POS (point-of-sale) system to process orders and charge accounts, if applicable.

Safety/Sanitation

• Maintain cleanliness of the  work areas throughout the day.
• Wash and sanitize dishes using dishwasher and by hand-washing dishes.
• Sanitize work areas, utensils and equipment.
• Ensure compliance of food safety and handling policies.

Inventory Management

• Maintain inventories by ensuring supplies are replenished.
• Assist with ordering inventory by monitoring supplies and equipment.
• Notify Executive Chef of expected shortages.

Other

• Performs other duties as assigned or requested.

Skills & Requirements

Two (2) years of food service experience in a casual dining environment or related experience is required.

High School Diploma/GED is required.
