Are you a Bistro Attendant looking to work for an amazing organization by serving others and connecting with your co-workers?
Immanuel Communities is seeking a Part-time Bistro Attendant/Server/Dishwasher to work at Arboretum Village, located at 8141 Farnam Drive, Omaha, NE 68114. Arboretum Village has 145 independent living apartment homes.
This position will pay up to $19.68/hour (straight pay/no tips). Pay will be based upon experience, certifications, skills and education.
Job Duties & Skills Required
What You Will Do
Food/Beverage Preparation
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Prepare foods such as sandwiches, pizzas and salads, if applicable.
- Prepare “grab & go” items such as sandwiches, salads various snack items, if applicable.
- Operate POS (point-of-sale) system to process orders and charge accounts, if applicable.
Safety/Sanitation
- Maintain cleanliness of the work areas throughout the day.
- Wash and sanitize dishes using dishwasher and by hand-washing dishes.
- Sanitize work areas, utensils and equipment.
- Ensure compliance of food safety and handling policies.
Inventory Management
- Maintain inventories by ensuring supplies are replenished.
- Assist with ordering inventory by monitoring supplies and equipment.
- Notify Executive Chef of expected shortages.
Other
- Performs other duties as assigned or requested.
Skills & Requirements
Two (2) years of food service experience in a casual dining environment or related experience is required.
High School Diploma/GED is required.
