Job Summary
Nevada County Superintendent of Schools is seeking a dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to become part of our experienced and highly supportive special education team. We proudly serve a variety of school districts—including Grass Valley, Nevada City, Nevada Union, Pleasant Ridge, Penn Valley, Twin Ridges, Union Hill—as well as several local charter schools.

Requirements / Qualifications
Education and Experience:
~ High School Diploma or equivalent.
~ California approved Vocational Nursing Program.
~ One year experience in school or community health.
~ Specialized training in designated procedures required for this position.
Certificates & Licenses:
~ Must possess a valid California driver’s license.
~ Current California Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or greater.
~ Must possess a valid CPR and First Aid certification.
~ CPR and First Aid Instructor Certification (Desired)
Salary Info
$33.13 - $47.63 (steps 1-24) Non-negotiable maximum for initial placement (step 11) $43.14.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS: These requirements will have to be met prior to beginning employment.
