Job Summary
Early Head Start is a Federally funded program designed to serve income eligible families who are expecting a child or have children ages birth to three years old. It is a comprehensive program that partners with families to support their child’s growth and development.
Early Head Start recognizes parents as their child's first and most important teacher and incorporates everyday routines and home materials into learning experiences focused on promoting school readiness through social-emotional, cognitive, and physical and language development.
We provide weekly, 90-minute home visits with a home visitor to support child development, establish family goals, and learn about community resources available to support families with young children.
Monthly group socializations events are provided twice a month during which children and families can gather in shared experiences and strengthen social connections while promoting healthy parent-child relationships and understanding of child development.

Requirements / Qualifications
Experience:
A minimum of five years recent experience in Early Care and Education Programs is required.
Education:
A Bachelor’s degree in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, or related field with a valid Child Development Site Supervisor Permit is required. Must meet Title 22 licensing standards. Knowledge of child development, family interaction and community resources is desired. Obtain and maintain CLASS reliability certification.
