About the Position

This role will provide daily technical support across our Global Operations, assisting with PC support, helpdesk operations, and general IT system administration. Provide strong IT support and a proactive approach to resolving technical issues across geographically dispersed teams.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide tier 1 and tier 2 technical support for end-users across U.S. and Asia offices via phone, remote tools, or in-person.
  • Monitor, respond to, and manage IT support tickets using the organization's ticketing system.
  • Support the deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting of PCs, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and peripherals.
  • Assist with user account management, including onboarding/offboarding, password resets, and permissions in Active Directory and other systems.
  • Perform routine software updates, patches, and endpoint protection checks.
  • Collaborate with senior system administrators to support network devices, servers, and cloud-based services.
  • Maintain documentation of IT processes, support tasks, and standard operating procedures.
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors or remote teams when escalating or resolving cross-site IT issues.
  • Support video conferencing tools, VPN, and remote access tools used by global staff.
  • Assist with inventory management of IT equipment and tracking hardware/software licenses.
  • Participate in IT projects and initiatives as assigned, including rollouts and upgrades.

Preferred Experience or Skills

  • 1–2 years of IT support or system administration experience (internship or co-op experience considered).
  • Experience with Windows OS, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and basic networking concepts.
  • Experience with helpdesk/ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk, SysAid, or ServiceNow).
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to support users with varying technical abilities.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours occasionally to support teams in different time zones.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic knowledge of virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Experience supporting users in a multi-site or global environment.
  • Experience or familiarity with ITIL or other service management frameworks.

Requirements

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time. 
  • Ability to occasionally climb, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist. 
  • Ability to lift and carry office equipment or equipment required for responsibilities (typically up to 25lbs).
  • Ability to work in climate controlled and non-controlled environments.

Education Requirements

Associate’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field OR relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, or equivalent.
