Cover Utility Operator (Laminator & Guillotine Cutter)

Full Time Regular (40 hours) – hourly

Bloomington, MN

Salary range: $19/hr. to $23/hr.

Who you are:

You are a hardworking individual with an eye for detail who thrives on maximizing production, quality, and efficiency. You are adaptable to changing workflows, self-motivated, and able to manage your responsibilities independently—yet humble and willing to ask for help when needed. Experience operating commercial-grade print equipment is preferred.

What you’ll do:

· Operate both the laminator and guillotine cutter equipment.

• Set up equipment by adjusting controls according to job specifications.
• Perform general and preventative maintenance on both machines.
• Monitor product quality and productivity to ensure standards are met.

· Assist in training and cross-training of new operators.

· Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot machine parts; identify repair and replacement needs and communicate them to leadership.

· Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple schedules.

· Maintain a clean, healthy, and safe work environment.

Position Requirements:

· Ability to work a 40-hour week, with willingness to work overtime as needed.

· Strong vision, including close, distance, and color perception.

· Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication).

· Physical ability to repeatedly lift and carry 50 lbs.

· Ability to stand for entire shifts, and to crouch, crawl, pull, reach, and perform repetitive motions.
