In addition to SEO, they collaborate with other departments to implement AI solutions that enhance efficiency, streamline workflows, and foster innovation within Marketwake.

Roles and Responsibilities

SEO Strategy Development:

  • Develop and implement SEO strategies for clients, ensuring alignment with goals and objectives.
  • Track work against original SOWs to ensure contract fulfillment and assist with upsell and cross-sell opportunities where applicable.
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of each client’s industry, key metrics, budgets, and target audiences to optimize SEO goals effectively.

Implementation and Daily SEO Management:

  • Manage all aspects of SEO accounts, including keyword optimization, seasonal adjustments, and content enhancements.
  • Conduct research for new clients, continuously improve reporting processes, and maintain high standards in SEO execution.
  • Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion, and optimization for all SEO campaigns.

Tracking and Measurement:

  • Develop and execute a plan for accurate attribution tracking, ensuring clear measurement of campaign performance.
  • Measure and report performance across SEO campaigns, assessing results against KPIs and ROI.
  • Build and enhance measurement plans to improve processes, reporting, and content performance.
  • Instrument conversion points and optimize user funnels to maximize engagement and conversions.

AI Process Development and Collaboration:

  • Lead the development of Marketwake’s internal AI processes, focusing on practical applications with ChatGPT to support team efficiency.
  • Work with team leads across departments to integrate AI usage into internal processes, managing GPTs for various functions and driving AI-led efficiencies.
  • Collaborate with creative and video teams to advocate for expanded AI capabilities, facilitating the adoption of AI tools and aligning with Marketwake’s innovation goals.

Educational Development and Industry Research:

  • Research, document, and maintain best practices, establishing processes for company-wide application.
  • Brainstorm and implement new growth strategies, developing an actionable plan for execution.
  • Continuously research tools, technologies, and industry trends that can help clients achieve goals more efficiently.
  • Perform detailed research on clients, industries, and competitors to establish benchmarks and identify best practices.
