Reports To: Warehouse Supervisor
JOB SUMMARY
The Warehouse Team Lead will support the Warehouse Supervisor in running the daily operations of the business. Follow up with employees, deliveries, and the overall functions of the warehouse. The Team Lead will step in when the Warehouse Supervisor is not in the facility.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Regularly lift and/or move objects up to 70 pounds.
- Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
- Regularly lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds.
- Occasionally team lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 pounds.
- Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel and crouch.
- Frequently required to push/pull a ladder, ascend and/or descend ladder while holding packages.
- Occasionally required to sit, climb and balance.
- Occasionally required to operate material handling lift equipment.
- Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.
JOB FUNCTIONS
- Responsible for suggesting methods to continuously improve area operations, efficiency and service.
- Be available for less experienced employees by providing appropriate coaching, counseling, direction and resolution.
- Assist Warehouse Supervisor with daily functions of warehouse operations.
- Work as a member/leader of special or on-going projects that are important to area/process improvement.
- Ensure new and current employees have appropriate training and other resources to perform their jobs.
- Use appropriate judgment in upward communication to Warehouse Supervisor/Manager regarding department or employee concerns.
- Unload & load FedEx, UPS, and LTL freight.
- Maintaining inventory controls; i.e.: cycle counting and morning report adjustments.
- Put away stock accurately.
- Process RGA’s and damaged product.
- All other duties as assigned.

- Attention to detail, reading and writing product numbers, as well as descriptions.
- Must have the ability to lead, direct, and motivate people.
- Must be able to work with other departments and be a team player.
- Ability to adapt to change and influence others.
- Must be able to delegate work where needed.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Use required power tools.
- Knowledge & understanding of pick and pack lists.
- Process RGA’s and damaged product.
- Keep accurate inventory notes.
- Must adhere to all safety and housekeeping policies and guidelines.
EDUCATION
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required.
- Minimum of 2 years of Warehouse Experience.
