Purpose
The Associate Director of Nursing (ADON) provides strategic and operational leadership for all nursing services at Noble, ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care. This role cultivates a collaborative clinical environment that promotes integrated care, regulatory compliance, and continuous quality improvement. ADON leads the development and implementation of evidence-based best practices, supports ongoing staff education and professional growth, and oversees employee health initiatives to ensure a safe and effective care environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic direction and oversight for all nursing services across the organization.
- Ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality, and patient-centered care in alignment with clinical best practices and Noble standards.
- Collaborate with medical, behavioral health, and dental leadership to support integrated, team-based care.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including HRSA, OSHA, and others as applicable.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives, including data analysis, performance monitoring, and corrective action planning in coordination with the Quality department.
- Participates in audits, surveys, and inspections, PDSA’s or other problem-solving methods, and ensure timely follow-up of findings.
- Maintains awareness of and notifies leadership of actual or potential risk situations. Gathers information and provides input regarding risk management issues as delegated by immediate supervisor.
- Develop, review, and update nursing policies, protocols, and workflows to reflect current evidence-based practices.
- Ensure consistent implementation of clinical protocols across all sites.
- Serves as the Employee Health RN/LPN.
- Schedules, performs, and tracks pre-employment testing for all employees using Compliatric and Epic OCHIN.
- Coordinates all pre-employment tasks for all employees to include Tuberculosis screening, N95 fit testing, employee vaccinations, and fitness for duty.
- Coordinates and tracks completion of the administration of the clinic’s annual influenza vaccine for all staff.
- Collaborates with Chief Medical Officer and Director of Quality & Compliance on management of needle stick injuries and bloodborne pathogen exposures.
- Administers the CPR/BLS program for all staff.
- Monitors employee health email and provides return to work guidance based upon symptom presentation.
