POSITION SCOPE:
- Works in conjunction with Project Managers and Engineers in the planning, budgeting, and logistics of assigned projects.
- Assists in the responsibility of upholding project standards and compliance to adhere to Company guidelines and specifications.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Leads all Project Engineering meetings.
- Manages the warranty and Operations and Maintenance (O&M) closeout document process successfully and timely.
- Manages assigned subcontractor handoffs though commencement of work.
- Prepares the owner pay app specifically managing percent billed, inclusion of change orders, etc.
- Reviews and validates content of Request for Information (RFIs) prepared by subcontractors ahead of issuing.
- Manages and confirms accuracy and timeliness of subcontractor change order submissions in Procore.
- Manages Budget Analysis process independently.
- Reviews and manages entire submittal process timely and successfully.
- Prepares and submits initial project budget set-up.
- Prepares form and leads the Company’s internal kick-off meetings.
- Assists Project Manager in updating procurement, submittal, and material activities in the project schedule with assistance from Superintendents.
- Leads safety observations and inspections. Issues and closes safety observations for all hazards.
- Leads weekly safety inspections.
- Leads pre-installation conferences.
- Manages daily log of quality control observations for weekly inspections.
- Manages the punch list process, including architectural punch list walks.
- Serves as a Your Onboarding Ambassador (YOBA) to Project Engineer Level 1.
- Mentors Level 1 and 2 Project Engineers and other team members as assigned to achieve job duties.
- Adheres to the Company’s key values of quality, dependability, and integrity.

Requirements
PREREQUISITE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Undergraduate degree in Construction Management or Engineering.
- 3+ years of Project Engineer experience, working on at least one project over $10M.
- 2+ leadership experience.
- Procore certification.
- Awareness of building codes, OSHA and applicable local safety regulations and procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and effectively lead a project team for discrete portions of a project.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Project.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent proofreading skills.
- Excellent organization and problem-solving skills.
- Strong time management and analytical skills.
- Firm understanding of complex mathematical concepts.

- Ability to lift 50 pounds for moving equipment on and off shelves.
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods.
- Must be able to traverse and inspect all areas of jobsite in all types of weather; this may include walking, climbing, reaching, bending, crawling, or stretching.
- May require travel beyond a typical one-hour job site commute.
- Exposure to characteristic construction site dangers.
- On-call availability to address issues at the jobsite.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
- Annual salary range: $85,000 - $110,000 based on qualifications and experience.
