Horticulturist en New Albany Country Club

New Albany Country Club is seeking a Horticulturist to join our turf care maintenance team.

The horticulturist is responsible for a crew of 4-5 to maintain our clubhouse grounds and landscape beds. This hands-on management position requires a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

• Oversee landscape maintenance, restoration and design of clubhouse grounds
• Trimming and pruning of trees and shrubs
• Weed control in landscape beds and club lawns
• Mowing and trimming of club lawns
• Identify and treat pests and disease
• Moisture management of beds and turf
• Manage 2 on site greenhouses

Qualifications:

• Landscape or horticulture degree
• Must have or be able to obtain, an Ohio pesticide license
• Team player
• Eye for detail 
• Self-starter who is able to lead a small crew in the day-to-day maintenance of the club grounds.

Salary:

$50,000 - $52,000/year
