We are looking for a Cellasto Warehouse Operator to join our Performance Materials team in Wyandotte.

As a member of the Global Cellasto Supply Chain Team this position is primarily responsible for physical movement of Cellasto parts from the Wyandotte, MI Plant to the warehouse/tollers/customers.  Our site operates in support of direct automotive OEM and Tier One suppliers.   The Cellasto Warehouse Operator reports to the Cellasto Shipping Supervisor.

 

During your 8- hour shift as a Cellasto Warehouse Operator, you will

 

  • Physically move collapsibles and pallets within the plant and onto trailers for shipment
  • Process shipping and receiving tasks, including incoming receipt processing and scanning to storage locations
  • Generate shipping documents and prepare Bills of Lading
  • Label boxes and pallets according to customer requirements
  • Coordinate supplies to toller locations and handle special scheduling for expedited parts
  • Communicate daily with the Customer Care and Planning teams to ensure priorities are aligned
  • Drive process improvements focused on team safety
  • Identify and communicate opportunities for time savings and overall efficiency
  • Participate in project work to support master data integrity, improved planning processes, and inventory optimization
  • Assist with inventory control and cycle counting in the production facility on a daily/monthly basis, and support the yearly corporate physical count

If you...

 

  • Possess a High School Diploma or GED.
  • Have minimum 2 years of experience in Logistics, Warehouse Management, or related field.
  • Hold experience within either warehousing or manufacturing required, automotive industry preferred.
  • Have working knowledge of SAP.
  • Possess knowledge of shipment planning functions and transportation management systems.
  • Are knowledged and experienced with Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Snag-It, Power Point)
  • Have experience with Powered Industrial Truck Experience (fork-lift)
  • Are able to lift 50 lbs. repetitively and up to 70 lbs. on an occasional basis.
  • Hold excellent organizational, time management, interpersonal skills and the proven ability to work in a team environment to collaborate for achievement, with high motivation and enthusiastic self-starter
  • Are available for off hours communications as needed as this is a 24 / 7 operation.
