Overview
The Social Media team is looking for a Social Media Manager who will help manage everything social media related on assigned projects and campaigns. Our Social Media Manager will help craft strategy and drive execution for our clients’ social channels. We are looking for someone to independently manage specific channels and support a daily cadence of content participating in culture and driving a business narrative. The ability to craft and lead social content that delivers impact against sentiment and engagement goals is paramount. All this work must be rooted in consumer insight garnered from social listening and a strong understanding of audiences.

Responsibilities
- Subject Matter Expert:
- Stay ahead of social media trends, platform updates and cultural moments and look for opportunities to apply them to our strategy and content.
- Pitch creative ideas to capitalize on viral trends and build conversation around our content.
- Campaign Execution:
- Support the execution of campaigns and promotions
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments including account, strategy and creative teams.
- Participate in regular brainstorms to develop on brand, culturally relevant and out of the box concepts.
- Content Creation & Scheduling:
- Build and develop strategic content calendars
- Own the tone and voice with copywriting, curating and scheduling daily posts across all social platforms ensuring all content is up to quality standards.
- Collaborate with creative and production teams to develop eye-catching visuals, GIFs and short videos.
- Reporting:
- Build recap reports and monitor content performance to ensure we’re optimizing content based on learnings.
- Brand Voice & Consistency:
- Maintain the unique brand voice across platforms while tailoring content for each audience.
Requirements / Preferences
- 3+ years experience managing brand, tech and/or entertainment content in-house/agency across multiple social media channels especially X, Instagram, Facebook and TikTok
- A demonstrated eye for craft and execution excellence
- History of collaborating with multiple departments and clients
- Excellent interpersonal and client communication/presentation skills
- Exceptional writing and communication skills with a knack for witty, engaging copy.
- Passion for entertainment, pop culture and storytelling.
- Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Flexible and responsive to the fast-paced nature of social media, including occasional evening/weekend work.
