Description
PAYROLL SPECIALIST
Responsibilities:
- Work with all aspects of Payroll including timesheet edits, payroll deductions, vacations, reporting, etc.
- Help in the HR Department when needed
- Work closely with supervisors & union
- Customer service for team members
- Generally 6:00 am to 2:30 pm (flexible as needed or required)
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- Must have strong organizational skills
- Previous payroll experience preferred
- Kronos timekeeping system and SAP experience preferred
- 10-key and computer skills
- Microsoft Excel experience
- Communication skills- written and verbal including phone etiquette
- Good work history including attendance
- Excellent with math
- Self-motivated, sense of urgency, and team player
- Able to work under pressure
- Bilingual Preferred – English/Spanish
- Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
