City of Parramatta have an exciting leadership opportunity working in the Waste & Cleaning team as the Team Leader Cleansing. 

About the role 

As the Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team member by working with and overseeing all activities, planning, organising and deciding how to accomplish set tasks, goal setting and distribution of information. 

Early morning start- 2:30am-11:30am Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Undertake the day-to-day management of a team member and their assigned tasks.  
  • Undertake planning, goal setting, task, and resource allocation for the team, to ensure a program of works are completed effectively. 
  • Ensure completion of all necessary administration functions. 
  • Mentor new starters and others within the team.  
  • Work alongside a team member to complete daily works such as litter picking, pressure washing, amenities cleaning within the public domain.

We are offering an attractive remuneration of $68,111 plus 12% superannuation.

About You 

We are looking for someone with: 

  • Current MR Driver’s license
  • White card
  • Previous experience leading a team.
  • Previous experience driving manual transmission vehicle
  • Ability to undertake the physical requirements of the role.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to manage and coordinate daily work schedules
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and circumstances
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
