Business Systems Coordinator
- $120,908 per annum + 12% superannuation
- Full time, fixed term opportunity until 30 June 2026.
- Wadawurrung/Geelong based role (hybrid work from home – 3 days a week in office)
About the opportunity
The Business Systems Coordinator provides a critical function to lead and implement key change initiatives within the Return to Work Victoria Business Unit, WorkSafe’s inbound and outbound communications vendors and online invoicing vendors, and WorkSafe’s Agents.
With a particular focus on managing the outbound communications and online invoicing solutions, the role ensures effective operational delivery and continuous improvement. This includes vendor management activity and engagement with business users. Key responsibilities of the role include (but are not limited to):
- Business technical lead accountable for ongoing service delivery, rectification of internal and Agent escalated issues, and identification and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives related to inbound and outbound communications and online invoicing solutions.
- Stakeholder engagement across WorkSafe business units and Agent networks to develop business requirements into communication packages for employers, injured workers and providers, leading the implementation process for required changes
- Conduct complex data analysis to create technical reports which outline vendor performance against contractual key performance indicators, using these reports for monthly governance vendor meetings to inform performance management and continuous improvement activities
- Provide specialist subject matter expertise to RTWV and Agents, undertake quality audits and Service Level Agreement (SLA) assessments and lead incident management relating to inbound and outbound communications and online invoicing solutions.
- Lead delivery of improvements to the usability of the business systems, communications and applications, undertaking the role of Business Analyst and/or Change Manager interchangeably with the purpose of leading the business through transformation.

You will also possess:
- Solid systems experience and a good understanding of the application of legislation in an operational context.
- Ability to set priorities and solve problems, and to communicate relevant updates and challenges to management.
- Change Management experience in an operational environment will be favourable.
- Understanding and knowledge of Victorian Government procurement processes and how government agencies operate will be favourable.
- Knowledge of the Accident Compensation (WorkCover Insurance) Act and Premiums Orders and WorkSafe’s premium systems would well regarded.
- Experience with the Microsoft suite of programs - Outlook, Excel, Word and OneNote is required.
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications in business, technology or health and/or relevant vocational experience
