Based in Avignon, our factory specializes in plant extraction and the production of aromatic ingredients mainly for food and cosmetics applications. Our site incorporates a wide range of technologies in extraction, drying, grinding, and liquid formulation, enabling us to meet a great diversity of needs.

As a Continuous Improvement Apprentice in Avignon, on a 1-to-3-year contract, you will support teams in developing the maturity of the Continuous Improvement system by applying the group's standard tools and leveraging your creativity. Your mission will aim to optimize processes, enhance efficiency, and stimulate positive change within the organization. You will report directly to the Continuous Improvement Manager.

You will:

• 5S projects: Identify or collect 5S projects and support colleagues in deploying 5S workshops (hands-on work in the field), perform 5S audits, and follow up on 5S action plans.
• Energy savings: Analyze data and manage energy-saving projects.
• Performance (OEE): Analyze data, track recurring issues to trigger problem-solving actions, and implement SMED methodology.
• Visual Performance Management System (KPIs): Help improve the VPMS tool and its facilitation in each department.
• Support the CI Manager in developing a culture of continuous improvement: Assist in creating communication and training materials, contribute to the implementation of improvement ideas, and encourage idea generation.

Your profile includes:

Education: Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field such as industrial engineering, operations management, continuous improvement, or other related discipline.

Language skills: Ability to prepare clear and concise reports and presentations in English and French (international group), and occasionally collaborate in English with our global team.

Practical and collaborative mindset: Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and with stakeholders at various levels of the organization.

Willingness to listen, support, and work in the field (manufacturing and maintenance workshop, laboratory, warehouse, etc.).
