Qualifications: 

• Possess a Master’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Social Work; AND Have an LMSW from the State of Michigan Department of
• Consumer and Industry Services; OR
• Possess a Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in Counseling; AND have a license as a professional counselor (LPC ) from the State of Michigan
• Department of Consumer and Industry Services; OR
• Must meet qualifications of a Child Mental Health Professional (CMHP) and/or Mental Health Professional (MHP) per the Michigan PIHP/CMHSP Provider
• Qualifications per Medicaid Services. 
• Have had at least three (3) years of full-time casework experience including 1 year in a leadership role.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Supervise and support therapy staff, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to promote professional growth and high-quality care.
• Review and monitor clinical cases, ensuring strength-based, stage-appropriate, person-centered treatment plans.
• Ensure all documentation, referrals, and clinical practices comply with Medicaid, state, and agency regulations.
• Provide guidance on best practices, evidence-based interventions, and integrated treatment approaches, including co-occurring disorders.
• Model Motivational Interviewing, trauma-informed care, and client-centered approaches in all interactions.
• Conduct staff meetings, chart audits, and clinical case reviews to monitor outcomes, address challenges, and identify training needs.
• Serve as a liaison with community agencies, medical providers, and other stakeholders to coordinate care and resources.
• Support program development, including new initiatives, quality improvement projects, and clinical program evaluation.
• Assist in hiring, performance evaluations, and staff development, fostering a positive, collaborative team environment.
