H2O is currently seeking a Mechanic to join our team in Laurel, Mississippi.

Key Responsibilities
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicles, machinery, and mechanical equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance, oil changes, and tune-ups.
- Troubleshoot issues with engines, hydraulics, electrical systems and brakes.
- Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records.
- Order and install replacement parts as needed.
- Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with company standards.
- Keep tools, shop area, and equipment clean and organized.
- Support field crews by repairing equipment used for water and wastewater operations.
The Skills We Are Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical or trade school preferred).
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Proven experience as a mechanic (automotive, diesel or heavy equipment).
- Physically able to lift 50+ lbs. and work in various conditions.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
- Strong problem solving and time management skills.
- Ability to use diagnostic equipment and a wide range of tools.
