The Opportunity:

The Company Driver is primarily responsible for the safe and timely transport of finished goods and materials using a bobtail truck. Most assignments involve moving loads between company facilities, with occasional pickups and deliveries to customers and vendors. This role requires consistent attention to vehicle safety, on-time performance, and professional conduct on the road. When driving responsibilities are light, the Company Driver will support warehouse operations with general labor tasks as needed.
  

What You’ll Do:

  • Safely operate a bobtail truck to transport finished goods and materials between company facilities.
  • Complete occasional pickups and deliveries to customers and vendors as assigned.
  • Load and unload materials, ensuring accuracy and care in handling.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections to confirm the vehicle is in safe operating condition.
  • Fuel, clean, and maintain the vehicle to ensure readiness for daily use.
  • Report any maintenance needs, safety issues, or incidents promptly to the Logistics Supervisor.
  • Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including logs, manifests, and receipts.
  • Support warehouse operations with general labor tasks when not driving (e.g., loading/unloading, staging, organizing inventory).
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.

 

What You’ll Bring:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a driver, including experience operating a bobtail truck (required).
  • Must be able to read, understand, and write English to complete deliveries and follow instructions from supervisors/managers.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, move, and load materials as required.
  • Certified and able to operate a forklift, power jack, and manual jack.
  • Knowledge of load capacities and safe loading practices to avoid overweight fines or shipment damage.
  • Knowledge of basic vehicle safety and maintenance checks.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed to meet operational demands.
  • Strong reliability, communication skills, and attention to detail.

A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00. The compensation offered may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and/or education.
