About the Job
Morrow County Health District has an opening for a Home Health & Hospice Chaplain in Heppner, Oregon.
Offers spiritual counseling and support to patient/families/caregivers in keeping with their belief systems. He/she is responsible for planning and implementing spiritual services for the hospice program. Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills to accomplish a variety of work with various groups of people, including physicians, patients and family members, personnel from other hospitals, clinics, healthcare organizations and facilities, co-workers as well as the general public. A demonstrated understanding and appreciation for diverse cultures is required. Must be able to interact with others in a thoughtful and professional manner. Must have excellent nursing skills and will provide professional, comprehensive nursing care for all patients at Pioneer Memorial Hospital.
Job Details:
- Part-time variable hours
- Wages: $22.36/hour
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited seminary or school of theology is preferred.
- At least three units of Clinical Pastoral Education is preferred.
- Pre-employment background check and drug/alcohol screen are required
