Role: Cleaner
Reports to: Maintenance Supervisor
Job Type: 1099
Schedule: Part-Time, 20-25hrs/week.
Compensation: $18/hr

SUMMARY
The Cleaner/Groundskeeper plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our property, ensuring a welcoming and sanitary environment for residents and staff. This position requires attention to detail, reliability, and pride in delivering exceptional service.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing all common areas, halls, grounds and laundry rooms.
- Empty and clean trash receptacles, ensuring proper disposal and recycling protocols.
- Clean and disinfect restrooms, including sinks, mirrors, toilets, and floors.
- Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies as needed.
- Perform routine landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
- Shovel snow, and keep walkways safe during winter months.
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor.
- Follow established health and safety guidelines.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Prior cleaning/janitorial experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks (bending, lifting, standing for extended periods).
- Reliable transportation and punctuality.
