Position Overview:

Are you a proactive and driven sales professional with a passion for customer engagement and revenue growth? We are looking for an Inside Sales Representative to join our Product Support team where you will play a key role in driving parts and service revenue through strategic customer outreach and relationship building. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, supporting our regional sales efforts and making a real impact on our business. This position is based in either our Leeds or Glasgow office, with occasional travel to between the two locations.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

  • Incremental Sales Growth
    Proactively follow up on service and preventative maintenance reports to quote remedial repairs and identify other revenue-generating opportunities.

  • Inspection Follow-Up
    Engage with leads generated from FinCam inspection technology and other inspection reports to convert opportunities into sales.

  • Personal Development & Collaboration
    Attend regional meetings and collaborate with the regional sales team to enhance your knowledge and contribute to team success.

  • Lead Generation & Customer Engagement
    Maintain a regular call cycle with shared accounts, support field sales reps, process orders, and promote relevant campaigns and promotions.

You will also be accountable for:

  • Quoting and offering tailored solutions to customers

  • Following up on unconverted quotes

  • Maintaining accurate records in the CRM system

  • Building strong relationships with internal teams and external customers

  • Promoting all aspects of Finning’s parts and service offerings

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in a proactive outbound B2B sales environment

  • Professional and confident telephone manner

  • Strong interpersonal, organisational, and customer service skills

  • Innovative and creative problem-solving abilities

  • Self-motivated with a strong drive to succeed

  • Collaborative mindset with cross-departmental engagement

  • High attention to detail and accuracy

  • Familiarity with CRM systems and ability to track customer interactions

  • Strong PC skills and adaptability to new systems
