Job Summary:

Working from our field office in Orlando, Florida, we are seeking a highly motivated Leasing Intern to join our 2026 Summer Internship Program. KRG is a fast-paced environment and provides hands-on experience to develop skills needed to succeed in the REIT industry and the specific function relating to the internship. 

Key Responsibilities:

The Leasing department monitors emerging concepts, establishes, and maintains positive relationships with existing tenants to find and renew deals within Kite’s centers. They present and discuss deals at real estate committee meetings to ensure consistency across deals and growth in the KRG portfolio.  Interns responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

• Learn/understand and be able to draft a Letter of Intent “LOI”
• Create merchandising plans for existing centers
• Cold calling/Canvassing (via phone, email, and in person networking)
• Present a deal to Kite Real Estate Committee
• Learn how to negotiate business terms within an LOI
• Shadow deal making and client check-ins
• Ad hoc projects as assigned by manager
