Brief outline of job:
 
As the Digital Trading Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the Mulberry Digital business in achieving budgeted sales plans and delivering an exceptional Mulberry.com customer experience. Reporting to the Digital Trading Executive and working closely with the Senior Digital Trading Manager and wider Digital Trading/Content team, you will oversee the day-to-day trading of Mulberry.com, ensuring timely product launches and accurately represented and optimised product on-site, whilst balancing commercial and creative considerations.
 
 
Duties and responsibilities:
 
●        Set up and maintain product catalogue, including Pre-Loved, in e-commerce platform (Hybris) and internal PIM (product information management) system.


●        Launch new products on Mulberry.com across 8 different regions, collaborating cross functionally with other teams (e.g. Digital Content, Buying & Merchandising), to ensure a timely and successful launch in all regions.


●        Visually merchandise product listing pages (PLPs) – populating PLPs with relevant products; managing PLPs sort order whilst balancing commercial and creative priorities, ensuring sort order aligns with channel (e.g. e-mail, homepage) landing points; curating What’s New and gifting PLPs; localising PLPs sort order where relevant.


●        Managing product PLP badging (e.g. ‘New Season’) on Mulberry.com across 8 different regions.


●        Produce reporting with reference to both traditional retail and online-specific KPIs, to support Digital Trade team with data, findings and analysis, that feed into informed decision making.


●        Identify out of stock products by region where Coming Soon functionality should be used to capture customer sign-ups. Inform relevant teams on sign-up numbers to ensure this is considered in stock allocation quantities.


●        Highlighting stock opportunities based on historical and current performance.


●        Conduct daily site walks of Mulberry.com to ensure the website is consistently of the highest standard.


●        Ensure requests and queries from the Digital Customer Care team are addressed in a timely manner. 


●        Collaborate with several teams (including Buying & Merchandising, Product Merchandising, Marketing, Retail, Tech and more).


●        Assess competitor activities and landscape to benchmark Mulberry against peers, ensuring the brand is in-line with or ahead of industry standards and customer expectations. Feedback to Digital team and wider teams with suggested actions to improve Mulberry.com and wider business. 


●        Support Digital Concessions team as required (e.g. sharing e-com imagery or on-site edit nominations with Concession partners).


 
Skills and knowledge
 
●        Highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with a strong interest in Digital and the fashion/retail industry.
●        An agile and engaged learner, quick to pick up new things and comfortable with learning new processes/systems.
●        Incredibly organised and detail oriented, with ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines, whilst ensuring work is consistently delivered to a high standard.
●        Collaborative team player, able to work cross-functionally across internal teams and with remote regional teams.
●        Problem solving attitude whilst keeping cool under pressure.
●        Strong commercial acumen and analytical mindset, with high level of numeracy.
●        Excellent communication and literacy skills, both verbal and written.
●        Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
●        Not essential but desirable - experience using e-commerce tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Content Square).
