Job Title:  JIS Clinical Case Manager

Program:  JIS - Justice Involved Services

location:  Office 1191 Lakewood Road, Toms River New Jersey

Position Type:  Full Time

Salary:  $40,000.00

Bonus:  $2,000.00 paid in 4 quarterly installments.  First after 90 days.

Job Description/Summary

The "JIS Clinical Case Manager" is responsible for providing community-based outreach to link or re-link consumers to services needed. Assists consumers that would otherwise enter the criminal justice system with advocacy and education of the legal system.

Responsibilities

  • Individual needs of persons served are addressed including assessment and evaluation, referral, follow-up services, individual, group, and family therapy.
  • Works effectively with the full spectrum of diagnosis disorders.
  • Meet weekly productivity targets.
  • One late day/early day required.
  • On call phone coverage rotation.

Competencies

  • Proficiently communicates - written and verbal
  • Demonstrates empathy and compassion
  • Able to work independently effectively manage schedule

Qualifications

  • Education BA in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field or AA in a related field.
  • Experience Two years’ experience working with individuals with mental illness. Criminal Justice experience preferred.
  • License - Valid NJ Driver's License in good standing
