Who We’re Looking For

Core Competencies:

• Strong clinical knowledge: comprehensive exam, diagnostics, and treatment skills across cardiovascular, respiratory, neurological, orthopedic, and critical care

• Sound problem-solving under pressure

• Excellent, empathetic communication with clients, colleagues, and referring vets

• Professionalism, ethics, and the ability to give and receive constructive feedback

• Commitment to continuous learning and teaching

Qualifications:

• DVM (or equivalent) from an accredited institution

• Board Certification or Residency Training in Critical Care (DACVECC preferred)

• State veterinary license (or ability to obtain)

• DEA registration (or ability to obtain)

• Leadership experience with veterinary technician/assistant teams

• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs; the role may involve climbing, stooping, crawling, etc.
