JOB SUMMARY
The Retail Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the retail shop at Saracen Resort and Casino. This role includes but is not limited to, ensuring the highest level of customer service, maintains inventory control, and supervises Retail Shop Attendants. All functions are performed within the guidelines of Saracen Casino Resort policies and procedures, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable shopping experience for all guests.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervision: Directly supervise and coordinate the activities of Retail Attendants. Provide training, guidance, and support to ensure efficient operations.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to all patrons. Address and resolve any customer inquiries or complaints in a professional manner.
- Sales Management: Oversee sales transactions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Handle cash, credit, and other payment methods following proper procedures.
- Inventory Control: Manage inventory levels by completing weekly order forms to ensure we are at the correct stock levels, receiving, and stocking merchandise. Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Merchandising: Ensure merchandise is attractively displayed and properly organized. Implement promotional displays and marketing strategies to enhance sales.
- Security: Implement and enforce security measures to prevent theft and ensure the safety of customers and merchandise.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and employee performance. Provide regular reports to the Retail Manager.
- Compliance: Adhere to all regulatory, departmental, and company policies in an ethical manner.
- Attendance: Meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company policies.

- Other Duties: Assist in other projects as directed. Duties, responsibilities, requirements, and expectations pertaining to this job are subject to change as needed. Hours are determined by a 24-hour schedule
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age or older upon employment.
- High school diploma or equivalent experience required.
- Previous experience in retail/merchandising preferred.
- Must have a professional appearance and be a team player.
- Must present a well-groomed and professional appearance.
- Must possess excellent communication skills.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English. Must be able to respond to visual and oral cues.
- Ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
- Must be able to be approved for and maintain a valid gaming license.
- Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- 24 hour operation; must be able to work any shift and holidays
- Employment is contingent upon a favorable outcome of a background investigation and drug screening.

- Ability to operate in mentally and physically stressful situations.
- Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast-paced casino environment and effectively deal with customers, management, employees, and members of the business community in all situations.
