About the Department
The Fitness Center is seeking a work study eligible student to assist in the Fitness Center and Juice Bar (within the Fitness Center). Time and responsibilities will be split between the two.

Position Duties
- Juice Bar barista & snack sales
- Fitness Center membership sales/Membership check in
- Gear checkout and inspections
- Creating weekly cleaning schedules
- Auto belay certification of members and top rope belaying
- Equipment care and maintenance
- Adhering to the climbing wall safety program
- Inventory processing
- Daily cleaning as assigned
- Supervising games and competitions for LCC students and employees
- Providing excellent customer service
- Assisting the Fitness Center Manager with projects
- Perform other related duties as required
Minimum Qualifications
- Willing to obtain CPR/First Aid & AED Certification
- Willing to obtain Washington State Food Handlers Card
- Must be comfortable working at heights exceeding 30 feet (climbing wall)
- Ability to work split and rotating shifts
- Ability to lift 100 pounds over head several times per shift
- Experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Previous barista experience preferred
- Previous gym or fitness center experience
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to provide a high level of customer service at all times
- Ability to supervise a large and diverse group of members in the Fitness Center
