PL Developments, also known as PLD, is a leading manufacturer, packager, and distributor of over-the-counter (OTC) pharmaceutical products and consumer healthcare goods. 

SUMMARY: 

The Rogue Supervisor plays a critical role in overseeing, coordinating, and optimizing the production processes within PL Developments. This position is responsible for ensuring production targets are met efficiently and safely, while maintaining high product quality and strict adherence to company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.

 Work Schedule: Sunday - Thursday 10pm-6:30am

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment (preferably in the pharmaceutical industry).
  • 3+ years of experience in a leadership role.
  • Working knowledge of FDA and OSHA regulations, as well as Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Good Documentation Practices (GDPs), is preferred.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
  • Ability to communicate shift goals clearly and manage daily operational activities effectively.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Supervise and lead a team of production workers, providing guidance, support, and motivation to achieve production targets.
  • Coordinate and assign tasks to ensure a smooth workflow and meet production schedules.
  • Direct the production line, providing instructions to line leaders to ensure shift goals are met.
  • Monitor and control production processes to optimize output and minimize downtime.
  • Efficiently manage resources, including labor and materials.
  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Mechanics, and Industrial Engineers to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
  • Enforce production schedules and quality standards.
  • Provide training and instruction on updated Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for team members.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock without overstocking.
  • Work with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure material availability.
  • Promote and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Investigate safety incidents and report to EHS specialists and Operations Management, implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Maintain strict quality control and assurance processes to meet product specifications.
  • Address and resolve quality issues promptly.
  • Conduct operational deviation investigations, determine root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Work in various environments, including office, production areas, and warehouse.
  • Stand for extended periods in production areas or work at a desk for prolonged durations.
  • Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Possible exposure to hazardous chemicals and active raw materials.
  • Weekend or extended work hours may be required based on production needs.
  • Must adhere to proper gowning and personal protective equipment (PPE) protocols in production areas to meet GMP and OSHA requirements.
