The Role

Our Emergency Department have new opportunities for experienced administration officers to join our team. Norwest Private Hospital is seeking casual team members with excellent customer service skills to work across a rotating shift roster, with flexible shifts to suit your lifestyle.

Key functions of the role but not limited to include:

·                                   Perform a broad range of administration duties including:

·                                   Manage a busy emergency reception desk

·                                   Answer and redirect calls

·                                   Prepare admission paperwork

·                                   Conduct follow up requests

·                                   Maintain accurate and effective record management systems including preparation of medical records

·                                   Perform Health Fund Checks as required

·                                   Manage the collection of excesses/co payments

·                                   Coordinate with staff from other departments

·                                   Complete other clerical tasks such as data entry

 

What you’ll need to succeed

To be successful in your application, you will:

·                                   Have a friendly and customer service focused attitude with demonstrable experience

·                                   Commit to our Safe Values

·                                   Sound computer literacy skills

·                                   Be comfortable with a competing priorities

·                                   Be available to participate in rotating shifts across 7 days, including Day, Afternoon and Night shifts and alternate weekends. 

·                                   Availability to work 3 shifts per week on an ongoing basis.

·                                   Previous experience in an administrative role - desirable
