Join us as a Helping Hands Network  Assistant Coordinator at one of our services located in beautiful Central or South West Central Queensland!

You'll work across split shifts to support our vibrant programs: Monday to Friday, 6:30-9:00am (Rise then Shine) and 2:30-6:00pm (Stay and Play). It’s an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team, making a real difference in the lives of children! 

About the role

Co-managing a team of Educators, you'll have the perfect balance of support and leadership opportunities. You will manage a service at a primary school in the hours before and after school for children aged 5-12 years, with the support of a state specific office, plus regional managers who regularly visit and mentor you at your service.

  • Develop and facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft - whatever you and the children are into!
  • Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents
  • Lead a team of Educators onsite, including roster management
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of your service including compliance and administration

Who We’re Looking For 

No formal experience? No problem! We’ll provide all the training you need. We’re looking for someone who: 
✔️ Enjoys working with children and making a positive impact 
✔️ Communicates clearly and confidently 
✔️ Works well in a team and aspires to grow into a leadership role 
✔️ Holds (or is willing to obtain) a National Police Check and a Working with Children check 
✔️ Obtained or studying towards a relevant qualification to work with kids in OSHC per ACECQA 
✔️ Has Australian work rights
