In this role, you'll:
- Operate a variety of Plant and Heavy Machinery
- Perform maintenance and manual labouring at a Plant Operator Grade 3 level - including tasks using plant and equipment and powered and non-powered hand tools when required
- Work collaboratively with the team including Team Leaders and Works Supervisors to manage the day-to-day operations and tasks as well as resolve issues that may arise
- Keep up to date with WHS legislation and policies and procedures as it relates to minimising risk and keeping to safe work standards
- Work a 9 Day Fortnight
- Travel throughout the region and camp away from home, Monday to Friday, up to 80% on the year

About you
We are looking for an experienced Plant Operator who has the capability to work under limited supervision and has experience in maintaining a safe and injury free workplace for all employees.
Essential Tickets and Licence:
- White Card
- NSW Driver Licence
- Willingness to undertake any legislated or internal licensing or ticketing requirements as directed
Labouring experience in a construction or civil environment and Plant Operator Grade 2 level experience as well as an understanding of local road networks across the district is essential
Experience in operating plant (excavator, bobcat, padfoot/smooth drum roller) as well as other related tickets, traffic Controller Card – or ability to gain within 3 months of employment is advantageous
You will live within 100km radius of the Broken Hill works depot
