Overview
We are looking for a QA Engineer that will contribute to the delivery of high-quality Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and Power Apps solutions tailored to enhance operational efficiency across the company. This mid-level professional will be primarily responsible for designing and executing manual tests, assessing sprint timelines, scopes, and risks, and proactively collaborating with project teams to uphold quality standards. The candidate will also engage in UAT sessions alongside stakeholders, providing clear progress reports and fostering seamless communication across teams to ensure project success. In addition to manual testing, the QA Engineer will also need to be part of the QA automation process to identify key scenarios for automation using Playwright with C#. While strong manual testing experience is essential, the candidate should have some experience or a strong willingness to become proficient in automation testing. The QA Engineer will operate within an Agile squad—comprising an Agile Delivery Lead (Scrum Master), Business Analysts, Product Owner, and Application specialists. Responsibilities
What will you do?
· Collaborate with the Agile squad from planning to release to ensure quality and timely delivery.
· Analyse requirements for features, integrations, and new projects, and determine testing needs.
· Design, execute, and document functional and automated test cases using Playwright, reporting bugs with detailed documentation and tracking their resolution.
· QA Automation to identify scenarios for automation and integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
· Logging and tracking tasks in Jira, and analysing test results to address risks effectively.
· Collaborate with developers, stakeholders, and the rest of the QA team to share test outcomes, discuss strategies, and improve processes.
· Participate in Agile ceremonies, ensuring communication of test delivery plans and alignment with stakeholders.
· Maintain accurate and current test documentation to support continuous delivery.
Requirements
· At least 3 years of professional experience as a Manual QA Engineer.
· University degree (minimum a Bachelor's equivalent), preferably in computer science, economics, or related fields.
· ISTQB Foundation Level certification and competency in reporting and tracking bugs.
· Strong skills in requirement analysis, test documentation, bug tracking, and testing standards.
· Hands-on experience with tools like Jira, Zephyr, Postman, SOAPUI, and Azure DevOps.
· Knowledge of SDLC, Agile methodologies, CI/CD, error monitoring, and log analysis.
· Proven ability to work effectively within Agile squads, demonstrating strong communication skills to convey quality insights and sprint progress clearly to stakeholders.
· A critical thinker with the capacity to highlight potential risks and provide actionable recommendations to ensure sprint goals are met efficiently.
· Solid experience in quality assurance practices, ensuring clear and accurate reporting of sprint quality metrics and fostering continuous improvement within the team.
· Experience with Playwright, C#, Visual Studio, Azure DevOps pipelines for CI/CD, and Allure reports.
· Previous experience in Microsoft tools like Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and Power Automate.
· Fluency in English, with additional EU languages as a plus.
Ideal Candidates Should also have:
· Previous experience in Dynamics 365 and Power Automate implementations.
· Experience within organisations operating in the financial domain, such as banking, insurance, or related industries.
· Enthusiasm for learning and adapting to new technologies.
· Strong organisational and planning capabilities, ensuring deadlines are met and quality is upheld.
