The Role

The HVAC Mechanical Engineer will be The HVAC Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Designing, specifying, and reviewing HVAC systems for industrial and chemical processing facilities.
  • Preparing technical documentation, including calculations, drawings, and equipment specifications.
  • Ensuring HVAC designs comply with project requirements, industry standards, and safety regulations.
  • Coordinating with other engineering disciplines to ensure integration of HVAC systems within overall plant design.

Responsibilities

 

  • Detailed engineering development for HVAC systems.
  • Preparation of technical deliverables: drawings, specifications, equipment lists, thermal and ventilation calculations, MTOs, equipment purchase requisitions, etc.
  • Coordination with other disciplines (civil, electrical, piping, etc.).
  • Review of offers and technical documentation from manufacturers and subcontractors.
  • Participation in internal technical reviews, as well as with clients and suppliers.

  • University degree in Industrial, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in HVAC system design within industrial and/or building environments.
  • Knowledge of HVAC design and calculation software (e.g., HAP, Carrier, etc.).
  • Familiarity with applicable technical regulations, both Spanish (RITE, CTE, etc.) and international (ASHRAE, ISO, EN, etc.).
  • Excellent command of Spanish and English languages
  • Holding a valid permit to live and work in Spain is required
