As a Market & Business Intelligence Manager at Kyocera, you will be responsible for developing the tools, platforms, and processes by which the company collects and analyzes both business performance data and customer research.  This new opportunity in a strategically important area of the company will allow you to shape the future of customer and business intelligence for the organization.  You will work closely with business leaders to identify their needs and translate them into functional requirements, then collaborate with Information Technology to build business intelligence platforms and reporting capabilities, to turn the requirements into reality.

 

In addition, the Customer & Business Intelligence Manager will design and conduct surveys and focus groups to gather customer insights. These findings will support market segmentation, assess customer process requirements, and inform competitive analyses, providing valuable data to help leadership prioritize business initiatives aligned with customer needs.

Responsibilities:

The candidate should have deep knowledge of data collection, management and reporting for the purpose of delivering actionable intelligence products suitable for use by senior company leadership.  This includes everything from data collection planning, data acquisition, data quality assessment, analysis and writing finished research papers and presentations.  As the Customer & Business Intelligence Manager, you will:

 

+       Partner with leaders/stakeholders across the organization to ensure we are effectively using data and visualization tools to drive informed decision making

+       Lead complex, cross-functional business intelligence projects and generating customer insights through primary research, secondary research, and focus groups

+       Craft product market share analysis and industry trends/outlooks for the Office technology hardware and software Products

+       Support go-to-market planning with market and customer analysis including market share by product segments, competitive intelligence and market forecasts using primary or secondary data sources

+       Craft compelling visualizations that are readily digestible, flexible, scalable and tells a story that is impactful and drives business value

+       Develop and improve custom data visualization and analytics tools to help teams identify trends and best practices, and support in their monitoring of progress towards business goals

+       Partner closely with other business intelligence team members and our IT team to develop best-in-class BI dashboards

+       Understand business needs, provide actionable recommendations, and communicate them effectively to business stakeholders

+       Succinctly communicate business insights to high-level decision makers throughout the organization

+       Ensure information on key metrics is accurate, complete, and reliable to support relationship management and optimize team performance

+       Collaborate with company leadership across all functions to identify new opportunities for research

+       Develop business requirements for reporting and dashboards of existing system data, such as market sales information, sales and revenue reporting by segment/product, etc.

+       Develop novel surveys or new data collection methods to acquire customer feedback

+       Execute recurring surveys, such as customer loyalty studies, brand awareness, customer satisfaction or employee engagement

+       Write and distribute regular research papers about customer or employee trends based on survey research

 

Qualifications:

+       Bachelor’s Degree Business or Business Management

+       Demonstrated success in leading complex, cross-functional business intelligence projects and generating customer insights through primary research, secondary research, and focus groups.

+       Demonstrated ability to craft and deliver engaging, highly informative presentations to all organizational levels, coupled with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

+       Demonstrates strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills with the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.

+       Prior exposure to working with a CRM (preferably with Hubspot or Microsoft Dynamics)

+       Advanced proficiency with all MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

+       Proficiency with Excel scripting including VBA macros

+       Proficiency with VOC/CX surveying methods and platforms (such as Qualtrics)

+       Proficiency with BI and reporting platforms (such as PowerBI)

+       Experience with statistical analysis software (SAS JMP, Minitab, SPSS, etc.)

+       Experience with database development and management (SQL, MongoDB, Access, etc.)

+       Experience in leverage AI for customer segmentation, trend analysis, and performance optimization

 

Preferred:

+       MBA or advanced degrees (preferred)

+       Advanced knowledge of SAS JMP, Alteryx and Qualtrics is preferred

+       Experience with change management methodologies

+       Experience developing and executing original, primary research

+       Experience with Agile software development methodologies and applications (Jira preferred)

+       Experience applying predictive modeling, natural language processing, and data mining techniques to derive actionable business insights

 

 

The typical pay range for this role is $81,000 -$119,000. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.This position may include a discretionary bonus based on performance.
