The ideal candidate has a Associate Degree in Accounting or Business Administration preferred with at least 3+ years experience as a Office Manager in the Automotive Industry or equivalent combination of education and experience. He or she must be detail-oriented and good with numbers and proficient with accounting software and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook). Certified Public Accountants (CPA) preferred.
- Develop organizational procedures and systems for office personnel, including filing, billing, accounting and scheduling.
- Reconciliations of schedules, including but not limited to cash, credit card, accounts receivable, vehicle receivable, contracts in transit, sublet, etc.
- Improve employee and client retention rates through active communication and problem-solving efforts.
- Manage and work with office staff to ensure timely processing of all duties with a continue follow-up to ensure all schedules are up to date.
- Continue education in management, organization and team-building skills.
- Manage employee schedules and troubleshoot scheduling conflicts as they arise.
- Order supplies and equipment as needed.
- Establish team atmosphere through leadership and employee development.
- Minimum 3-5 years Automotive Office Manager experience in the Automotive Industry a MUST!
- Associate degree preferred (emphasis in Accounting).
- Knowledge of dealership accounting principles a must.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience with all aspects of business office duties.
- Advanced computer skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfort with fast-paced environment.
