As a Quality Engineer, you will ensure the quality and performance of software applications by developing and executing comprehensive test strategies. You will lead risk-based testing efforts, design and automate complex test scenarios, and support test automation integration within CI/CD pipelines. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize test coverage and develop best practices, while mentoring junior engineers and leading small projects. This role enhances the team's efficiency by identifying and resolving automation issues, ensuring the quality of software releases through automated testing. This position is essential for supporting the continuous improvement of our automated testing capabilities.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using established frameworks.

  • Execute and analyze automated test results, identifying and reporting defects.

  • Contribute to the design and implementation of test automation frameworks.

  • Perform regression testing using automated test suites.

  • Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve automation issues.

  • Maintain and update test automation environments and data.

  • Contribute to the improvement of CI/CD pipelines.

  • Provide regular updates on automation progress and identify potential risks.

  • Analyze automation test results and provide recommendations for improvement.

  • Assist in the creation of automation test reports and metrics.

  • Improve existing automation processes and documentation.

  • Participate in cross-functional team meetings.

Qualifications & Desired Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance or a related field.

  • Foundational knowledge of test automation tools, scripting languages, and frameworks.

  • Proficiency in writing and executing test cases, test plans, and test scripts.

  • Foundational understanding of the software testing principles and methodologies.

  • Foundational understanding of compliance management technologies.

  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and execute test cases accurately.

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.

  • Ability to leverage generative AI and other intelligent tools to solve complex problems, increase productivity, and maintain a high standard of code quality.

  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • ISTQB certification or equivalent is a plus.

Full-time positions are scheduled to work 40 hours per week, M-F unless required otherwise by projects. Part-time positions are scheduled to work a maximum of 30 hours per week.
