Position Summary:
A Fluid Connector Product Manager is expected to take responsibility for support of sales opportunities of all assigned products. The FCPM is one of the main interfaces with manufacturers and has the main responsibility to support and train employees as needed to grow the sales and profits of the assigned product lines. This position is remote and traveling is required to support our branches.
Primary Duties:
- Develop technical expertise in all products designated as the responsibility of the PM.
- Along with the category management team, act as the main liaison with the manufacturers of the assigned products and those directly associated.
- Facilitate training the MFCP sales organization to make certain personnel are competent in understanding products and applications for sales opportunities with customers.
- Identify new markets and associated products to expand MFCP expertise in growing the sales of assigned products and provide insight to category management through the category profile and planning processes.
- Visit all branches to develop target accounts and assist in the development of branch personnel.
- Work with the category management team to ensure the establishment of proper inventory levels.
- In collaboration with the category management and strategic initiative team, oversee profitable growth and work to ensure margin enhancement for sales opportunities.
- Coordinate efforts with all appropriate departments and personnel to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Ability to lead a team, set and obtain company goals.
- Conduct Monthly meetings with IHP and FCG team members.
- Attend Parker DAC, NAHAD Conference.
Basic Requirements:
- College degree or relevant technical degree and/or minimum 7 years’ experience selling Fluid Connector and Hydraulic Hose. Multiple manufacturers experience a plus.
- Familiarity with hydraulic hose and fittings selection and applications, especially Parker Hannifin.
- Experience or education in business administration is desirable.
- Proficient in all Parker Hannifin Fluid Connector Groups. PTAC certified a bonus.
- Excellent written & oral communication and strong relationship building skills required.
- Detail oriented with solid organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.
- Strong computer skills including use of MS Office (Word, Excel & Outlook), with a willingness to learn new software programs. Experience with Epicor Prophet 21 a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record, in accordance with company guidelines.

Salary: $125k - $150k plus incentive (commission)
