We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Medical Referrals Manager to join our medical referrals and diagnostic imaging department. This role is responsible for overseeing the referral process, ensuring quality and compliance, and delivering exceptional service to patients, providers, and internal teams. The Manager will lead a team of referral coordinators, streamline operations, and develop best-in-class practices to support a seamless patient and provider experience.
Selected Responsibilities:
- Oversee referral coordinators and the day-to-day operations of the medical referrals and diagnostic imaging department.
- Coordinate and streamline administrative and quality functions, including tracking and auditing referrals and diagnostic imaging to ensure patient safety and team awareness.
- Develop and maintain community contacts to enhance referral processes and collaboration.
- Provide training to referral coordinators, ensuring proficiency in patient and provider relationship management strategies.
- Collaborate with operational and clinical leaders to establish and maintain best-in-class practices for all areas under management.
- Lead, motivate, and manage the referral coordinator team, including hiring, performance management, staff engagement, and development.
Associates degree in Business Administration, Health Administration or related field required. Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field preferred.
