We’re looking for a seasoned Regional Marketing Manager, experienced in the AEC industry, to join our rapidly growing commercial construction team in the Bay Area. This role requires both strategic thinking and creative implementation. We are seeking a strong leader who will develop strategic goals to meet our business needs, then put those goals into action through strong project management and delegation skills. This role will manage and mentor a team of 4+ marketers in the execution of marketing strategies that will attract and retain clients, help our construction teams win work, and build brand awareness throughout the Bay Area. The ideal candidate possesses a creative eye for visual storytelling, complemented by strong writing and editing skills.
This role can be based in any of the following offices: San Francisco, San Jose or Walnut Creek. The Marketing Manager will be asked to travel between Bay Area offices to support the teams and local initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy – Develop and lead the execution of a comprehensive annual marketing plan that defines strategic priorities, aligns with business objectives, and drives growth across key markets.
Management – Manage a growing team of 4+ creative marketers. Oversee workload allocation, project management, and team leadership in the Bay Area, ensuring optimal resource utilization. Mentor Marketing personnel to support career growth, foster cross-regional collaboration, and cultivate an entrepreneurial, high-performance culture.
Pursuits – Must have a strong drive to help teams win work!Guide proposal and interview strategy development by providing coaching and creativity. Assign pursuit responsibilities based on team members’ strengths to maximize impact and efficiency. Provide quality control and ensure the timely delivery of all marketing materials. Establish parameters for post-opportunity analysis to extract learnings and support client re-engagement.
CRM Analytics – Oversee the maintenance andaccuracy of Skyline’s CRM with a focus on contacts, leads, opportunities and projects while working with the Operations and Business Development teams to create reports and dashboards that will move the business forward.
Social Media - Collaborate with the national team to inform the social media content strategy with Bay Area–specific insights, aligning content themes with regional growth priorities and market opportunities.
Content – Partner with the broader team to brainstorm and execute content marketing strategies rooted in regional market trends, industry momentum, and timely, high-impact topics. Tell the stories of our projects and our teams through videos, case studies and photography, while heavily coordinating vendors and teams to meet schedule deadlines.
Website – Create and publish region-specific content onto the website to showcase key messaging and ensure alignment with Bay Area priorities and brand standards.
Public Relations – Responsible for leading the market presence and media relations by executing press releases and award submissions as well as tracking coverage to ensure communication initiatives receive visibility and promotion.
Events – Work with Sales, Operations and HR to create and manage a calendar of industry, client and recruiting events. Coordinate strategy, invitations, swag, venues, promotion, food and beverage to see events through to completion.
Branding & Communication – Ensure consistent branded merchandise, signage, content and messaging internally and externally.

Skill Set:
7+ years of experience, A/E/C industry experience preferred
A people person with excellent customer service skills & a positive attitude
A strategic, future-focused thinker
Strong writing, editing, and presentation skills required
Expert skills in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator with a strong eye for clean design
CRM experience
Proficiency in platforms such as OpenAsset, HubSpot, ClickUp, WordPress, SurveyMonkey, etc. strongly preferred.
