Skillforce is looking for skilled Electricians to maintain and troubleshoot advanced production equipment in a fast-paced automotive plant in Columbia, TN. This role is ideal for candidates experienced with PLCs, robotics, and industrial electrical systems. Pay is up to $40/hr + $125/day per diem for those that qualify! Candidates will be working up to 60+ hours a week for approximately 6 weeks.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, PLCs, high-voltage equipment, and control circuitry
- Work with Allen Bradley PLCs (primary), Beckhoff at the cells, and coordinate with OEMs for Siemens systems
- Program and troubleshoot Fanuc robots
- Configure machine Ethernet networks and maintain communication systems
- Work with CIP safety devices, safety relays, and safety controllers
- Program and troubleshoot HMIs (PanelView Plus)
- Troubleshoot hydraulics and pneumatics as needed
- Collaborate with production teams on quality and improvement projects
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as an Electrician or Electro-Mechanical Technician in an automotive plant
- Strong electrical troubleshooting skills and understanding of control circuitry
- Experience with PLC programming and HMI interfaces (Allen Bradley, Beckhoff preferred)
- Knowledge of robotics, machine networks, and safety devices
