Job Location: Phoenix, AZ (Chandler as well Deer Valley both)
Pay Range: $60-$70/hr
Schedule: F/T: Monday through Friday, more details upon interview

Description
Company Overview: Medivant Healthcare is a new fully automated injectable manufacturing & outsourcing (503B) facility. We manufacture single dose sterile injectable products on the FDA’s shortage list for hospitals and health providers around the country.
Job Overview: The compounding pharmacy technician will assist the pharmacist by assisting with sterile injectable products following cGMP compounding/manufacturing practices and all other regulatory laws.
The compounding technician works under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, working in the clean room and compounding medication.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Follow all company policies and procedures
• Keep equipment operating by following operating instructions
• Update job knowledge by participating in training opportunities
• Demonstrates proficiency with following direction
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt with change of workflow
• Properly use, document, calibrate and maintains equipment needed in making of compounds
• Perform miscellaneous inventory of consumables to ensure proper stock
• Operate, clean and sterilize aseptic compounding equipment and compounding areas
• Maintain housekeeping standards in the compounding areas
• Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor
• Follow all SOPs, and all other company policies, double check calculations, record compounding procedures, lot and expiry of ingredients
• Coordinate with other pharmacy team members to compound preparations and execute quality assurance procedures, following standard operating procedures
• Ensure all compounds are prepared in accordance with the master formulas and in accordance with USP -797-, and USP-800- and cGMP

Pharmacy Technician Requirements and Qualifications
· Completion of a pharmacy technician certificate program
Must complete within 3 years of hire. Must get training technician license with the AZ Board of Pharmacy within one month of hire.
