Description:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Project Manager with a strong background in business analysis to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading complex, cross-functional projects from initiation to completion, while also leveraging their analytical skills to ensure projects align with strategic business objectives. You will be the crucial link between our business stakeholders and development teams, translating business needs into actionable project plans and technical requirements.

Responsibilities:
  • End-to-End Project Management: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering: Work closely with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and milestones. Facilitate meetings and workshops to drive consensus and decision-making.
  • Risk & Resource Management: Proactively identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Manage project resources, including personnel and budget, to ensure optimal allocation and efficiency.
  • Process Improvement: Analyze existing business processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements to support project goals and operational excellence.
  • Solution Design: Collaborate with technical teams to translate business requirements into functional specifications and system designs, ensuring the final solution meets business needs.
  • Quality Assurance: Develop and oversee project testing strategies to ensure high-quality deliverables that meet documented requirements.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project charters, schedules, status reports, and post-mortem analyses.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
    • At least 3 years of experience in a business analyst role or performing BA functions such as requirements elicitation and process mapping.
  • Certifications:
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) or equal training/certification is highly preferred.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency with project management software such as Jira, Microsoft Project, Asana, or Smartsheet.
    • Strong understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and various project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
    • Experience with process modeling tools (e.g., Microsoft Visio).
  • Core Competencies:
    • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
    • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
    • Meticulous attention to detail and outstanding organizational abilities.
    • Must be a US citizen and/or green card holder and be able to obtain Public Trust clearance.
    • Prior FDA experience is huge plus.
