Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class B CDL Driver to join our team. The primary responsibilities of this role include the pickup of materials and equipment from various vendors and delivering them to job sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for loading and unloading materials and ensuring timely and safe transportation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pickup materials and equipment from various vendors.
- Deliver materials and equipment to job sites.
- Load and unload materials and equipment.
- Ensure the safe and timely transportation of all items.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups.
- Communicate effectively with vendors and project managers.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Valid CDL driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a driver, preferably in a similar role.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials and equipment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Familiarity with the Queens and New York City area is a plus.
Work Environment:
- Based out of our Hyattsville, MD office/shop.
- Vendors are primarily located MD, DC, VA.
- Projects are mostly in MD, DC, VA.
